found some great tamale recipes have a couple weeks to figure out which one to make ...... found out today have a boiler inspection on the 30th...grrrrr

I wish I could send you some but overnight shipping is crazy! It was $60 to ship overnight to Thistlebloom. I don't know how they can be kept frozen and go through regular mail. If you find a way let me know.

Show me the recipe you are leaning towards. I find that just doing them the way my grandmother did is much easier than following a recipe. They are very simple to make. I like to make the meat the day before to cut down on the work. The hard part is that they are time consuming to put together and steam.

When I buy dog vaccines from mail order, they have to be kept refrigerated . The company mail in small Styrofoam box with cold packs. both box and packs reusable then mailed 2 day much cheaper

Actually it was for 2 day mailed. Post Office said they don't do overnight to Idaho.

That's what I thought too. I had to send my son to Post Office but he's pretty smart and I gave him explicit instructions, haha. I'm like "What do you mean they can't overnight it". He said they looked it up on the computer and town didn't show up. It's does seem pretty small since I've never heard of it before. Seems easy to me. Put it on a plane it's there in a couple hours then drive from there to house. But nope.

I'm supposed to mail some to southern California to my former pastor. Haven't checked how much that will be. Of course it's also a small town before you hit the L.A. area/valley.

There are places where they have to pipe in sunshine--and it's a week late. Overnight doesn't even get there overnight.
