Looks great, Beavis! Good idea to keep the critters out of there! Enjoy your gardens!

I worked on more irrigation lines, a necessity here in the desert. and then we got peas, beets, carrots and rhubarb planted. The asparagus is already poking through.

How well does the rhubarb do in your high desert?

I gave up on it here in So Cal.

I'm terribly jealous of anyone who is able to grow rhubarb. We had it when I was growing up in Alaska and it (like everything else), got HUGE during the summer. Rhubarb pie is my favorite pie, unless someone tries to tone it down with strawberry :p . My husband loves rhubarb jam as well. Just wish it would grow here.

So far I have planted 70 different varieties of Heirloom tomatoes..Two hybrid varieites..

Transplanted 150 tomato plants this past week, and have about 150 more to go..Transplanting peppers today, and starting some lettuce, spinach and other greens.

Been battling bronchitis the past three weeks..just getting my energy back.

Barefoot...I'm jeolus with all those different heirlooms you are able to plant. I have room for only 7 plants. Two have to be early girls, 1 a roma, 1 a sungold, so that leaves only 3 heirloom plants! It is soooooo hard to choose only 3! :barnie I've tried growing them in pots but they just don't do well.
