I completely disassembled my 3' x 6' salad garden bed to be used as Eva's gravesite. I still have broken cattle fencing from the direchio and limbs falling on it from 2 years ago on the fence 12 ft from the street, south yard. I messed up a mower and had to have it repaired bc I didn't see the fencing and hit it with the blades. It disconnected the cord that is the choke. All repaired now.
I took the two 2" x 6" boards from the torn apart bed and put them in front of it to prevent this in the future.
I harvested 64 garlic bulbs and yesterday I removed the tomatoes that I had staged in a 40 water tank for transplanting. I got 4 of them transplanted. Several of them grew together, but they are so leggy that I will them stay that way, since I broke one leader trying to separate them. I am only planting 6 tomatoes on each 12 ft long fencing, lots of room to spread out.
The tomatoes already have fruit/flowers, and I will harvest two small Early Girl tomatoes to eat today, just to say we did.
I would Like to say that I cleared the north fence line and east fence line of trees and burdock and other weeds, but my neighbor did That for me, although I did some initial tree cutting. (see my thread for pictures)
DH and I mowed the 3 acre north pasture. It looks like a golf course.
