Ridgerunner is how I was raised. Our farm was on slopes bigger than hills but not quite mountains. So, a way to call myself a Hillbilly.

I don't use an avatar, obviously. If I did, it would be of my granddaughter, but I'm not putting her picture out on the internet.

My handle is just my name here.....and my Avatar is one of the Dahlia varieties that had mutated here on the farm. On the BYC group....my handle is Pyncheon guy...I raise Pyncheon Bantams and show a Pyncheon as my Avatar. "Mackinac Island"

Ok, guess it's my turn now. I was just starting up and needed a name for my business license, and I thought, well, this work I'm starting will just bloom and get bigger and better. So Thistlebloom!

Plus, I'm sorta prickly!

My avatar is my sweet boy, who was a wild range horse a guy bought at auction and turned around and resold. He was mangy, starved and so wild it took weeks before he trusted me enough to touch him. But he turned into the sweetest most buddy like horse I ever owned.
And he turned out to be a real nice looker too.
