My brother-in-law in Wisconsin has Alzheimer's and has been missing since yesterday afternoon. There is a Silver alert out for him.

My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's and has been in a care facility for years. They had to put an alarm on her wheelchair to keep her from going out the door.

My heart goes out to you. That is hard.

Since we live so far away, we were unaware he was having these health issues, no one told us. We just spoke with him last week and he seemed normal. My husband is taking it hard, since their mother (97) also has Alzheimer's and is in a facility. Neither of us are sharp as tacks anymore, we sometimes wonder if we are headed that direction ourselves.
