it has cooled off here still have two items out there drying but the temp
is still pretty warm going on 9:30 pm and still 2 or 3 degrees below 80 here now

With all the rain and flooding going on to the South I was wondering. Do we have any members seriously effected by the waters? The telly photos are terrible. So much flooding and loss.

Checked out the TEG 'PIN IT' map. There are so many pins so close together I can't easily click on each one.

quite probably there are neighbors here in that area
we cooled off today to 75 or so bit more doable

I heard the flooding is worse now than after Hurricane Katrina. 21 inches of rain in 24 hours! I can't even imagine.

But what about you? Are you ok or have you evacuated?

I am ok, this is happening just north of us!
It is completely heartbreaking, many friends are affected!
We are very lucky down here south of all of this.
We are completely surrounded by water, but we don't have a river right near us, that is what has saved us from this horrible disaster.
This really is like a flashback to Katrina. So so sad
