@catjac1975 I will do what ever the Dr tells me to do for as long as it takes! I just wonder what will happen when it's time for me to go back to work??? Will I be allowed to work even though it's part time? I have to lift, push, and pull some pretty heavy stuff.

When and if you are ready to go back to work it will be because you are ready to go back. Proper therapy will insure you are capable as well as ready.

The Dr. told her it could take two years or more to heal properly. She's not even allowed to sweep or vacuum. This is the woman who grabs the broom and mop as soon as she even thinks I'm going to move a piece of furniture or appliance. I've learned over the years to just move whatever it is I have to work behind and then just get out of the way until she's done. She's completely relentless. I guess now I can work in peace for awhile :p
The real question is, since she works part time on a called as needed basis, how do you calculate lost wages? What if a permanent opening comes available and she is now unable to take it? This is why I think we need an attorney.

YES @MontyJ I do think an attorney is a good idea. They will be able to calculate something based on what she worked last year. Not sure they will be able to do anything about her maybe missing out on full time employment. Good Luck and let us hope she heals quickly and this has been an unnecessary worry.

I start Physical therapy next Thursday. Not sure how many days I will be going. I have to see a neurologist in Novemeber. I'm still getting headaches. :( I sure hope I don't miss out on a full time position at work.

Went to physical therapy today.... he pushed and pulled on my head and neck. I wanted to hit him,but refrained myself. I know he was only doing his job. I have to go two times next week and then he will decide if I can work. Here are a few pictures of my car after the accident. It may not look like a lot of damage, but I think over 4300.00 is quite a bit of damage.

here's hoping the frame is still straight after that. make sure to ask the mechanic if they checked for that. sometimes in accidents the frame on the car will badly twist but not be hugely visible till you are driving it. things will always feel out of alignment when that happens.
