I'm an artist at heart. Over the years I have done pencil drawings, calligraphy and watercolors. Now I am limited, because I have hand tremors.

So, I have turned to photography as my form of expression. A tripod really helps.

My spouse is starting to have hand tremors. I was told that wearing a wrist weight would help to control the tremors. We were discussing holding a spoon or fork, but you might want to try it for a pen or brush as well.

I just posted 3 photos on the Spring photo contest, but have so many more, I thought I would post a few here. I planted this Sunflower by our front door a couple year's ago.

What I have is called "Familial Essential Tremors". My mother had it and my son has it. It is caused by a defect at the base of my brain and there is no cure. If I HAVE to write something, I can go really slow, but it is really shakey. If I'm in a hurry it turns to scribbles and even I can't read my own writing.

It IS challenging isn't it? I whine and complain, but try to make the best of it. Hence the tripod.

This is a Black Iris, that I started from about 5 tubers, in about 2010. I kept dividing them, giving them away, planting new areas, and in 2014, I had about 100 plant's all over my little garden.
