going to be out of town all next week...kale...... nope not going to be on the menu planner.

Not quite cabbage and not quite collards, if'n I remember what collards taste like.
You could use Scotch kale or cabbage for a Portuguese kale soup but why not go all the way?!
Ya know, the Portuguese were the first to sail from Europe aaallll the way around Africa, to get to Asia and back!

the asparagus are done for the season so weeded it out this morning..
have mators on every plant now..
have peppers on every plant as well
fortex beans..
diplomat melons have flowers
the peas their loaded.
even have broccoli in the raised beds..
the kiwis are looking sad with all this cooler/wet weather hard to tell.
and lastly my lonely pippin apple tree..deer food
off to pull some more weeds...
