Diy Trash to Treasure redo thread

Sis (a.k.a. Jeni Ann ) brought this find home and a can of her favorite color blue spray paint. I love this chair. View attachment 14657

Very beautiful...very art deco! I've never seen one like it and the color is exactly the right accent to the design. I'm betting that chair is worth a pretty penny to collectors out there somewhere.

Fuchsia? Oh, "can" see it, not "do" see it!

@ninnymary had me wondering about her monitor after talking about those lily photos from @GardenGeisha .

I was in hobby lobby for the first time the other day. What an odd place. Yes, I certainly like the blue, especially imagining whatever "distressed" finish they must have had on it. Is that the right word for HL's choice of colors? Distressed. I can't imagine me coming out of there with furniture and no can of paint.

We do have HL's? Must be in Washington?

Yes, North Division beside Michael's.

I've gone in Michael's now and then.

Not that I have any creative talent it's just that I like rubbing elbows with those artsy-crafty people.

Ok, what kind of store is Hobby Lobby?
Good question.
