You would understand that colors and floral shapes are evocative ...

I can imagine dozing off while in the company of green hydrangeas. Perhaps, "evocative" is too strong a word for a sleep response but, sometimes, it's a compulsion we just can't resist.

Here is one of my new cultivars. A true red petal with a light lime green center. It is a spider form. It is a standout in the garden. It has a long blooming season and many buds.

Dry the seed, chill for 6 weeks, chill moist for a week or less. Start in coir. Watch for fungus gnats-biggest problem.

I am friends with the owner of the florist shop in town. I groomed her dog yesterday, when she picked him up she gave me a vase filled with cut orchid stems. The flowers are green with washed out red center ( can not find my camera ). I love orchids but these seem boring to me. I not a fan of green flowers, to me looks almost like stems of leaves. Do you like green flowers ? What is your favorite flower color ? Mine is blue

My favorite flower color is coral.
