Who has been here the longest?

My parents where snow birds after Christmas, they went to a small house they owned in Daytona beach. They would come back north some time in April depending on weather. Daytona beach is all about tourist dollars so they where always welcomed.

A lot of my clients are turning in Snowbirds. Westchester's wealthy are buying out West Palm beach. The wives are spending winter with husbands flying down for weekends.

I stopped posting much when life got in the way, between emigrating, my marriage ending and health issues, gardening took a back seat and I didn't feel much like talking at times, but I do now and then spend an enjoyable half an hour or so reading threads here and keeping up with you all… You're good company :hugs
I hope life is on the mend for you.

Yes!

We appreciate you @sumi and hope for that mending, as well.

It's also nice to know that we provide some enjoyment and for you to say so.

:) Steve

Speaking of who has been here the longest:

;) @skeeter9 and her Corgi were here when I showed up. At least, I think the Corgi predates me.

As for how things have changed @seedcorn ; I guess that we can no longer access to our old gallery, pre-2013 format change. I thought it was a little clunky but okay. Bookmark now takes me to "An error was encountered ... FluxBB reported: Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: The server requested authentication method unknown to the client" I could access my olde My Page through that gallery ... which I never did much with.

BTW: when I click my username on this page, I can look at "my attachments," and there are all the pictures I've uploaded in this forum format. That's handy enuf. (I'm still wondering why it's MY attachments but YOUR content. But then, I get hung up on things like that ... ;))

Thank you both :hugs Life is on the mend for me, slowly but surely…. My last cancer check-up was clear and I'm hoping will stay that way... My son is happy, happy and that means a LOT to me :) The separation/divorce situation is complicated, but will hopefully be resolved soon enough.

Life goes on!

And I'm enjoying hanging out here and reading you all and talking a bit now and then and just enjoying the company. Hopefully before too long I'll have space for a garden AND chickens again and then I can join in more on the gardening chats.
