I don't feel southern nor northern here in Va.
NOVA is very northernly. While Richmond or so, very southern.
I think technically, Va is northern, but not sure where that map went I had to prove it. No one can agree on it, lol.

Virginia was a southern state. Kentucky is the state that to this day is mixed up. Part on Indiana time, part on Tennessee time.

The Snowbirds I knew were typically farmers that grow a crop, maybe wheat, that just doesn't require any real work during the winter and they don't have animals to look after. No kids in school. So they close up their house in winter and move down south. I saw some at Corpus and Aransas on the Texas Gulf Coast. Those trailer parks would be huge. It's less expensive to buy a trailer and pay hook-up fees and all that as opposed to paying to heat the house during those winters. Plus you get to enjoy the winter weather.
