I am always super impressed by anyone who can not only finish a blanket, but also turn out so many! I used to crochet and knit a lot, but struggled to stick with any one project to completion. Come to think of it, I do a lot of things that way.

These are so simple and the only reason I am able to do this or even try. Some I had to hurry for Christmas presents, so that motivated me some.

I looked up the Bernat Blanket yarn. Is it the soft slightly fuzzy stuff I see throws made of? It is so soft! Your blankets are beautiful and I know the recipients of your lovely gifts appreciate them!

This is really soft, but I would not call it fuzzy. I would take it with me when waiting for DH in hospital procedures and people would ask to touch it because of the great big balls of yarn and they all thought it was soft.

I used to do a lot of knitting and actually learned how to knit socks by looking over my MIL's shoulder (the turning of the heel). I'm left handed so what she did I did in reverse.
I taught myself to crochet, did a lot of afghans for presents, also knit fancy scarfs for all the girls in the family. This is the last afghan I crocheted which I gave to one of my granddaughters, the pattern was made up from several different ones.

I was in the process of crocheting a complicated pattern (well it was for me) for a sweater. I came home to find it unraveled and strung out throughout the house and one worn out kitty, she'd had a very busy afternoon.

Bad kitty, but what a little love she was, mom forgave, rolled up the yarn and turned it into a shawl.
I'm just getting the strength back in my left hand now, when I had the seizure in April from the brain tumors I didn't know I had my left side was compromised for awhile but it's all coming back. So maybe I'll soon be back to crocheting.
Since the radiation I've had two MRI's which both showed the tumors shrinking, due for another on the 30th, fingers crossed. If I'm lucky I just might beat the odds once again. Stay strong and think positive has always been my motto;).
