With all the rain everything is green, the grass/weeds are the best looking green this year. Feel sorry for the people who fertilize their lawns.

had a nice day pulled a wheel barrel full of pigweed,shelled a half gallon jar of beans, took a nap, weedeated the raised beds and the garden, put everything away..

it held off till 45 mins ago so far 1.77" and still coming in buckets,,,,@canesisters should be getting some nasty rain right about now....

crap that means i will have to mow mid week....

Your garden looks so nice. Mine is galloping away with weeds and grass. I'd LOVE to have that lush grass in a pasture for the sheep to eat!

this year being away so much the weeds had a chance to get a foot hold, losing the battle slowly this year....

8/18/18 update....
well the gardens are slowing down....
the 2nd round of corn is just about ready....

since i did not spray the corn like i usually do, just about every ear has borers in them.. no biggie just cut off the tip, which has little kernels so no great loss.
