I was just using Syringa for scale.
But she's pretty cute though, isn't she?
My horses haven't been worked for probably a week, and we all had cabin fever. So I took Syringa out first for a walk on the roads. The snow is way too deep to work horses at home, road walking is the best we can do.
She was fresh and feisty and I was a little concerned walking her would be like reeling in a marlin with a fly rod. But she was pretty well behaved and respected the rules.
She loves snow and I never get tired of her antics. (you all may be tired of the same old rolling in the snow pics...)
The snow on the side of the road was belly deep and she kept wading in and rolling. She makes me laugh.

Sort of...
A while ago we were working on a few things, the snow was calf deep and lumpy from previous sessions, she was going around me on a line and I lost my footing and tipped over.
I lay there a second in the snow thinking she'd startle and take off. She stopped and lowered her head and looked at me as though she was wondering what this new cue was. Such a great little horse.

i'm just curious how she would react to something that may look like art or a representation of something else, and just the general reaction at all, like perhaps she'd do a roll in the snow too...- Thread starter
