34* here, 24* tonight. Bradford pears, redbud, peaches blooming here too. I am chomping at the bit to get plants set out, hope this is the last of the cold weather.

Your brooder looks good, made better by the excellent help that you had. LOL The things you are teaching him now will be with him all his life. I was a Daddy's girl and things I did with my Daddy showed up later in life, because he showed me how.

Nice seedling set up. I bought the LED plant lights last year, but honestly, shop lights work just as well, if not better!

Imagine that, snowed a little bit on the way to work this morning....Good ole North Carolina weather LOL. Bay I'd give it a good spell after this last cold front. I've got bitten 2 years in a row wanting to get plants set out as early as possible in March, then Bam...another cold snap. I made up my mind I am not setting anything out until the end of March/first week in April, and even then there is a chance of frost. Almanac says our last predicted frost day here is March 29th.

Got all my lettuce in last night, black seeded Simpson, Grand rapids, and Bibb's. Also both Vates Dwarf blue curled and Red Russian Kale.

The Broccoli, cabbage and Lettuce I planted early this week is sprouting. I went In the barn this morning to check on the chicks, glanced under all the domes, there's a little green in all of them. That always gets me pumped, ready to plant everything! Still waiting on my seed order, tracking # says delivery on Friday, Majors seeds are in the mail, looking forward to those also. This is shaping up to be the biggest garden I've had to date.

Got an e-mail from the Ag extension, first market meeting is next week. Market opening is late April, but it gives everyone a heads up on any regulation changes, and new market times and locations. We have been collecting bags and crates, table cloths, different table arrangements. We're trying to use the same Logo on everything, had these little stickers made to put on the bags and boxes. My wife found this one, I thought it looked like my little Farmall Lol.
