2019 Little Easy Bean Network - Come And Reawaken The Thrill Of Discovery

at times i've had reverse beans show up in pods in alternating fashion. next time i get one i'll take a pic...

Two days ago was the completion of another bean trade. This time from a fellow in Valpiano, ITaly. 20 varieties. I think you will enjoy looking at them all. They are all destined for the freezer until 2020. Don't know the histories of any of these beans. For now they are just pictures and names of beans from Italy.

CANNELLIO MALATO - BUSH - One thing I can tell you about this bean it is an original bean of Domenico Belisario who is one of the big dry bean growers in Italy.

It's been monsoon season in Indianapolis the last couple of weeks (started a few days after I planted my beans). I was really concerned that all the seeds were going to rot in the ground because the weather didn't cooperate at all. I'm happy to report though that the beans were resilient and I've got just about 100% germination on my network beans for the year. Now I'll work to ward off the rabbits. Including a pic of the neighborhood garden which also seems to double as a rabbit habitat.
