I got busy and forgot to drink my second cup that I had poured. Off and on seeing little bits of snow or sleet coming down.

Been awake for an hour. No coffee here. This sucks. Gotta get a coffee pot for here I guess. Truck broke down, pouring out diesel. Son came in last night, hitched up gooseneck, unloaded his 1989 F250 Lariat and drove my truck up on trailer. This sucks bigger than no coffee. Gonna take me home, drop truck at repair shop in a few hours. They can’t get to it until next week. This sucks too.

if it is otherwise in good condition it's well worth a repair bill compared to what you'd spend for something new (if you could even find one to buy that you like).

i hope your repair shop is honest and does decent work. i feel really blessed that we have found two mechanics in a row that are both decent and do good work. we just had our car in for an oil change, change the wipers, check all the fluids and brakes, replace a headlight, replace all four tires and redo the timing belt. for about $1,200 total.

the great thing is that the new mechanic took over the building of the previous mechanic so we know where he's at and he's also fairly young (but has 20+yrs experience) and not ready to retire yet so we should be ok with him as long as we have this car. at least i sure hope so!

If you have some coffee and no coffee maker you can improvise with a pot of boiling water and a fine tea strainer or a coffee filter. Heck I’ve used good quality paper towels as a strainer before.

Just boil the water move the pot off the eye. Add coffee and let it sit for about 3 min and then strain the grounds out. All depends on how desperate you are lol.

Finished my coffee about an hour ago. Then went for a run with the new foster. So glad it’s warmed up some here so I can have my coffee or tea before my run instead of after!
