This Is The #1 Worst Weeding Mistake You Can Make – And What I Do Instead To Keep Weeds Under Control
Don't make this weeding mistake. Properly removing weeds in the garden is critical to keeping them under control. Follow these tips for weeding success.
Today I was on my God Mower, along the fenceline that my neighbors cut down for me, going forward one bindweed to the next, and getting ALL of it (except for the roots).
When I apply 2D4 on Tuesday I will kill the roots, too.
If you simply mow it the pieces will discharge and they WILL take root where they land.
I have had success both smothering a patch and digging it out with a wheelbarrow, hand manipulating the runners, accumulating them in a bucket and throwing those away, and, a few years ago I was able to completely eradicate one of my beds on the west side of the garage of all of the bindweed there.
Yes, it has been creeping back, but weeds don't have feet and cannot run away like vermin.
