Seasonal uses of chickens in the garden.....it's time to let them pick the beds clean of old seeds and bugs for spring planting.

I tried several types of incubators before I settled on Brinsea. I have 4 and they're great! I pretty much don't do anything but add eggs and water. lol
This plant came to us in a funeral arrangement and we would like to try to root it. Since it came from a florist it could be from anywhere *sigh* Any ideas?
We got frost last night! I pulled the rest of the banana peppers last night at 10pm, and cut all the parsley. I'll be processing all that today. Really sad about the peppers, the plants are so big and bushy and still covered with flowers. Not sure what to do about my broccoli. The last group is...

Spray the area with blue cote, that should help a bit. You could always try taking the most aggressive of the hens away for a few days then putting them back. Sometimes it changes the pecking order just enough to stop the picking. Good luck!
I've tried picking them in the morning, picking on cooler days when i don't have the air on, rinsing in lukewarm water...etc etc. Nothing seems to help.
