Has anyone tried growing figs in the cooler zones? In pots? If so, how large do they get and do they do well? I have been toying with the idea of trying the varieties from Baker Creek, but do not want to take on more than I can handle either. Let me know what you think.

I harvested my first batch of rhubarb today. I have a delicious smelling easy rhubarb dessert baking in the oven as I type.
I will let you know how good it is in a little while and post the recipe too.

This will be the first week in ....well I don't remember when...that it is not suposed to rain. We have had soooo much rain, some things have done super in the garden and some things not so good. They are calling for rain on Sunday and Monday, but things may dry out some by then!!!!

Any affordable places out there to buy plastic (reusable) nursery pots of all different sizes?
I have found a few sources that run between .15 - .45 per pot depending on size. ( I don't need anything over 1 gallon size either!)
