These little guys are 10 days old and just starting to open their eyes. Not a runt in the lot. 9 broken whites and one little black guy (or gal)
Not bad for a first time mama.

She's taking great care of them. They're all fat as can be. They seem to have kicked their way out of the nest. Guess that hair was getting too hot.

That is something you have to get over. I wouldn't want anything to do with someone that enjoyed the killing part. It's just something you have to face up to if you eat meat.
