10 NEW BUNRABS (new pics 2+ weeks)

Just in case anyone is wondering about the previous post. It's an old folksong.

In Dublin's fair city, where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone
As she wheeled her wheel-barrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
Alive, alive-O! alive, alive-O!
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
She was a fish-monger, but sure 'twas no wonder
For so were her father and mother before
And they each wheeled their barrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
Alive, alive-O! alive, alive-O!
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!

She died of a fever, and no one could save her
And that was the end of sweet Molly Malone
But her ghost wheels her barrow
Through streets broad and narrow
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!
Alive, alive-O! alive, alive-O!
Crying cockles and mussels, alive, alive-O!

Yep - I caught it but probably only bunrab enthusiasts know what a popple is. For the less bunrab oriented it's the period from birth till they are up and running around the cage. They're called that because they seem to pop up in growth so fast at that stage you can almost watch them grow.

Here they are now, just going on three weeks soon. Up and running and starting to nibble solid food. That big foot in the second pic is mama on the perch I built so she can get away from the kids when they bug her too much.

What breed of rabbits are they? I love broken patterns, so cute. :D

The doe seems to be mostly New Zealand. The buck is smaller and has every indication of an English spot except his body is too squatty. I swear sometimes he resembles a giant guinea pig more than a rabbit but he makes nice babies and almost every one looks just like him. He could be a Rex/Spot cross. He has that nice soft fur.

I'm getting a kick out of watching them try to do binkies. One tried it and fell head first into the water dish.
