just to show that you can grow lettuce, bok chio under some plastic at 19* at night and 32*during the day with just a little frostbite.... took a quick look under the beets yeah they took a little beating...<no photo> and yes the carrots are happy as a bug in the rug...
and @catjac1975 even have weeds during january growing season.......
@seedcorn while us dang southerns are eating fresh stuff from our gardens, how are those grocery stores prices on veggies.....

so much rain & warm temps here today most of the snow has been washed away. but it is still cold & dreary with the howling wind. this is not really seasonal weather for New England.

we usually don't get this amount of rain during the late fall/early winter heck was watering till mid january. every chance i get will pull the covers off of everyone when it going to rain.. and the snow does not hit till february. they are calling for a slight chance of snow the 23 and 24.
