last year we dried and put away 2 quart jars full of oregano, we are down to a 1/4 jar. so the excalibur is full at the moment<oh what a wonder smell in the house> and a box full is going down to work for the office personnel to have. and there is still half the bed to trim......guess thats going in the dryer later...
checked both the basil and thyme their low as well...

This just remained me that I was going to plant more oregano. I also dried oregano in the same kind of dehydrator and told my friend who is thinking of getting one that just dehydrating the herbs makes it worth it. I used all the oregano. I really believe the oregano and parsley are totally different than what you buy at the store.

update..5/9/15 wow where has time gone...
lets see the new garden expansion has been a disaster, have had to replant the peas and beans 3 times till i figured out what was the problem, first off had root maggots thats a first for the garden so have been spraying for them.took care of that problem. the other problem is CAROLINA CONCRETE< aka red clay> ever after tilling it once it rained it turned back like it's never been tilled.
left is pampered, right is new.
but on a happy note the peas and beans have finally made it.. sad as it is...
the soil was so tough had to start the cucumbers over indoors. plus the cultivator had a heck of a time busting up the soil but finally was able to get down 8"
and added a couple bags of black kow to the soil.
finally the temperature was right for planting the children this weekend.
tomatoes in their cages.
and the peppers. planted them from bells to hot peppers.
made some bird houses a couple winters ago,decided to put them up this year, well looky there i have tenets in one of them.

the raised beds
bok choi and second round of lettuce.
golden, red beets, green onions
lettuce and radishes..
spinach....
the potatoes are doing great and flowering.
planted the watermelons today.
zucchini is finally growing..
and my first attempt on kohlrabi.
and the basil is dong great once they get a wee bigger will transplant them into rows.. have about 20+ sprouts
yes the gardens have had their setbacks, but finally coming alive.....

Wow, I can't believe how fast your raised beds have filled out!
Sorry about your bean and pea troubles, but they will probably take off now that they're up and growing.
Those little carrots look okay to me.

Everything looks so good major. I'm jealous that you can grow watermelon. Melons are my favorite fruits! I've got Diplomat Galia planted in a nursery tree container. So far it has lots of flowers.

we had our first harvest last night picked couple heads of lettuce radishes bok choi and some green onions. grilled some chicken. that was good stuff..
