I think I would follow that vine around where it grows and carefully clip it out and dispose of all it's material. Stems and leaves.

at least some of these pods produce seed, you can see the tiny bulges in the pods but when I opened one out of curiosity no seed had started to form. I was going to call it Tiny Tim but changed my mind, it's now called 'Itsy Bitsy'.
