yay! the snowpack gets a good boost.
we had a very light dusting of snow last night. most of it is already melted and gone by now.

Our Thursday storm must have mostly blown into Canada.
The storm today started as rain/snow here. I thought everything was okay then discovered that I had to scrape crusty windows! Then for my 8am meeting learned that I had been driving on ice, not really asphalt - I didn't have to drive far.
Along with the enlightenment on road surface conditions, I learned that the same thing applied to the sidewalk! The snow had melted near the building and the landscaper had used pea gravel as a mulch in the beds (
). Sooo, you know how I got to the door? Yep, stepping over the junipers and daylilies (don't tell @catjac1975 ) on the gravel mulch.
My view now from the lazyboy: Big Lazy Snowflakes and quite a few of them.
