Asparagus

Had my first cutting of the year Monday. Yum! I love asparagus! Need to get the new ones cut for tomorrow as they are getting too tall.

Can't imagine a garden without asparagus.

Southern, how big is your asparagus patch, or maybe the question should be how many plants? That looks like a nice harvest!

I probably have 20 to 25 plants and could have gotten a better harvest, but I didn't fertilize them in the spring before they sprouted. They are now ferned out for the rest of the season.
