I generally do a 2 hour soak on apple and pears. Stone fruits I don't soak at all. Most all stonefruit root stocks require well drained soil. There are a few exception but just a few.Get those suckerse in soil fast!
I kept my 2 peach trees, bareroot, in a bucket and almost lost both of them.
I planted in a big pot with soil, and one has recovered.
That makes it a $30 tree.
When I get time I'll type up my "problem" I had with my peach trees this year and how I had to "fix" them. It was not a good thing at all but it looks like all but one has recovered and I have faith it will also.
Jesus is Lord and Christ
