Get those suckerse in soil fast!
I kept my 2 peach trees, bareroot, in a bucket and almost lost both of them.
I planted in a big pot with soil, and one has recovered.
That makes it a $30 tree.

I generally do a 2 hour soak on apple and pears. Stone fruits I don't soak at all. Most all stonefruit root stocks require well drained soil. There are a few exception but just a few.

When I get time I'll type up my "problem" I had with my peach trees this year and how I had to "fix" them. It was not a good thing at all but it looks like all but one has recovered and I have faith it will also.

I got the 3 pear trees potted after a 2 hour soak. They obviously were in the cooler because they are just breaking bud and fast. I set them out in the kiddie pool along with the other grafts. Since they are just breaking bud I will not set them in the shade. All the trees know is winter is over at this point nice looking pear trees, stark bros calls them "supreme". I do like ordering from stark bros with there 1 year warranty and talk to a real live human when you call them.

Put up a new flag after I sawed of about a foot of bend flag pole. Pole is straight again, a little shorter but flying band new flag

Farmbabe's got another jam fest going on with our granddaughters.

Favorite daughter in law is back behind the pond picking blackberries.

Me? I relaxing in the air conditioning after working on the chicken coop this morning and afternoon.

We had some strong wind come through, that knocked some pears off the trees. I picked up what the deer left. Cattle like them, I fed about 1/2 a 5 gallon bucket to them yesterday. Will continue to feed every day until gone.

Now that we got rain, it'll be a day of cleaning up limbs from winds, mowing and weed whacking. This evening I hope to get to the garden.
