When buying a new fridge it was hard finding one without ice and water on door. I buy both water and ice.

I'm not sure that bleach will help. Its particles, on the contrary, can settle on the walls of the cooler, thereby poisoning the water. It is also known that water from springs is much more helpful than that which was purified artificially.
