DH mowed with the tractor Saturday, then DD's mowed with the Godmower and push mower yesterday. I little bit scalped, but loads of love to my help!!
God must have heard, rain scheduled for 2PM today.
I checked on my two pepper pots, the ones I can see through the DR window, that have no drainage and the ones that I filled up enough to see the water. Doing Great!
The only job I got to was pulling the pickup garbage container over to the front yard and depositing probably a 40 gallon trash bag's worth of bindweed that I had pulled off on Saturday and piled on the sidewalks.
I also planted a medium sized plastic pot with zinnias, 6 orange nasturtiums, and some marigolds. I prepped with pot by putting down some used coffee grounds and their filters, all of the shells from 12 HB eggs, and 1/2 (small) bucket of soggy compost, in the pot where I staged my tomato plants, then topped with potting soil. I poured a full pitcher of water in and then covered with a white plastic biodegradable garbage bag, securing on the bottom of the pot to keep it from blowing away. I could see the condensation on the bag yesterday.
We keep thinking that Illinois is a wet state, now I'm thinking we Always have a summer drought. :(
After todays/tonight's rain I will check on the Eva pot with forget me nots, probably add some more seeds and do the same with another garbage bag.

DD's have promised that we will saw down ALL BURDOCK along the east 1/2 of the south fence of the north pasture before my October Salsa Party: Salsa 14: The Usual Suspects. There isn't any burdock on the west 1/2.
I think that the (now) 17yr mower kid (at DD's church, is interested in our trailer, which is tailor made to tow a riding mower. Right now he only has a truck and I understand that he is trading up for a better truck. This trailer has a ramp and open holes to pass ratcheting straps

through to secure a riding mower in transit.
We will be happy to make him a sweet deal, since it's harder and harder to find mower repair people.
The trailer needs new wiring, but I don't think that will be a problem for him, either.
I have My eye on a metal trailer with open weave, sides and a back ramp. It will be easier to chop down saplings and transport to the north pasture burn pile. Few trips and longer than my tow wagon. I intend to get my new one once this older one is gone and tarp it outside for the winter.
