French Black Copper Moran

IF I remember right.. it's been several years... my FBCM roo started crowing somewhere around 3months. Well.. started making sounds like he was being murdered - but they eventually became a crow. He had a beautiful voice.

Ooh, I recommend Speckled Sussex too. But they weren't layers of large eggs for me. I would have gotten more this time if they had been available.
@ninnymary , does the bird in question act like a roo? A little more aggressive and rowdy?

No not at all. How long will it be before I know for sure?

Ok now I’m getting paranoid haha but it seems like the tail of my Easter Egger is very upright. Is this also a sign it could be a roo? Sorry for blurry pics.

Upright is not a problem, curved can be. To make it more confusing someone on the chicken forum recently posted photos of a pullet that had curved tail feathers when younger. I know that just adds to your frustration.

Usually Autralorps are easy for me to tell sex by five weeks, let alone as old as that one is. But some can be really challenging. I wish I could be more sure on yours.
