Garden on the forest edge.

Sons do not expect me to lunch when I was in the garden. They cook it themselves. Fortunately, they like it.

"The car is not made of rubber! We can not place it, - said my husband when he saw a large number of bags and boxes with plants, - It's impossible! "
Well, he always says. But I never do not believe it. So I have all turns out. Younger son wedged between the box with tomatoes and peppers. The eldest son was carrying the flowers in own knees. We left the city.
This house, I took pictures from the car. It is very pleasant to me because it has a beautiful windows. These patterns - an ancient pagan art. Each pattern has its own significance and meaning. These windows can be seen the movement of the sun. This amulet for the home.

On the way we stopped for water. It is not far from us. This is a holy spring. Water is considered to be curative. There hangs an icon of the Mother of God and prayer, which you can read before you drink.

That is so great you have your mothers primrose. I have a lilac, that was a sucker from a clump my grandmother planted. I have a hate/love relationship with it. It gets mildew by summer and only flowers every or year, but it reminds me of grandmom

Dig around the plant to trim the roots. Give it a good fertilizer. Spray with milk or baking soda.

Huh? Grandmom got mildew by summer?

The biggest reason lilacs don't flower is because of pruning at the wrong time of the year. Lilacs bloom early and set new flower buds early, so a pruning in June or later in the season takes away the buds for the following spring. The best time to prune is right after the flowers turn brown. Right after flowers in the spring is when the lilacs start setting their buds for next season, so if you haven't completed pruning in May or early June don't touch them. Lilacs need new growth to set good blooms.
