Ha, that's great!! Love it. I do that with my dogs (and my daughter too). The saying goes that one who has many nicknames is much loved! :happy_flowerdamummis said:Mine is me. I am "the mom" which got changed to "the mummis" which got changed to Da'mummis. I took out the hyphen.
It kinda stuck when my DH wrote me a Mother's Day poem titled The Day of Da'mummis aka Happy Mummis Day
Names morph in this house. My dog has about a dozen different names all from one. So does the cat now that I think about it.
Makes sense to me. I once had an email address that was "igiveup_noreally" because everything I typed came back as a no!bid said:Have you ever tried to get a particular email/screen name only to have the system say that name is already taken and finally out of frustration you type in something totally random? Mine started out as a throw away email/screen name years ago...back in the bad old days of really excessive spam. I never knew how many people and companies around the world were so concerned about my health and financial well being. I started using it more and more and after a while it kind of just became the online me. It got shortened to "bid" over the years as folks on different sites would address me that way. It really has no meaning.
That is cool. Yay we are all loved.journey11 said:Ha, that's great!! Love it. I do that with my dogs (and my daughter too). One of the rarest "arrowheads". Originally thought to be only found in a VERY few areas of southeast Al and southwest GA., but have been discovered in a few areas outside this grid. It is an artifact from the Early to Mid-Archaic Period....9,000-6,000 B.P.LVVCHAP said:I also wanted to ask a question - What is a boggy branch?
I should send this quote to my Vet. She wonders why we always start off with an animal's name and it can change several times before we're happy with it. (Current example: Standardbred Gelding--former stable name, "Bo Bo"--stupid--new stable name, "Beau Geste", morphing into "Bodie", from the Olympic skier...)damummis said:Names morph in this house.
