The bamboo-like stuff or the rhubarb mimic?

Yikes. The Bohemian knot weed doesn't resemble bamboo until it gets some height to it. Definitely not a bamboo leaf, but does have the hollow jointed stem like bamboo.

I've been battling little outbursts of it along a clients property boundary and this spring found a 5 foot tall stem growing up next to a shrubby trees trunk that was invisible when the tree was leafed out. It's pernicious and tenacious. And sneaky!

i get knotweed but I don't consider it a weed. It makes good rabbit fodder. If your soil isn't hard it pulls right up. Usually has only one taproot.

Wow I can feed it to Harvey ? Starting to love it. gets pretty tall about 5 feet. I never minded it because grows along fence giving privacy. Just never knew what it was.

What's invasive in one region may well be not such a problem in others.
San Diego is a desert and not wet enough for many species to get a toe hold, but I think you need to be careful about what you allow to grow unchecked NYboy.
You're probably not going to keep your knotweed under control by eating it.

We have a Hazelnut tree with blackberries but also a vine like plant with very pretty white blooms.
We live in Zone 8 and was vacant for three years before we moved here in October last year,
Still cleaning up the property but am clueless as to what it is please help...............

I can't see real clearly on my phone, but I believe that is Mock Orange. Does it smell nice?

went out there no odor but pleasant flower, better half cut me a sprig
took close ups hope it gives a better view the main stalk is just about
4 inches in diameter. googling thornless rose it appears I may have found it?
as a old english tea rose?
