Funny, Nyboy! No, that 'blindfold' is really a mesh that is easy to see through, but keeps the flies out of the cow's eyes where they often lay their eggs.

It's to keep the flys out of her eyes. A lady on my 'cow forum' (www.keepingafamilycow.com) makes them just for cows - cause the horse ones don't fit right.

But yes, I do play hide and seek with her sometimes. She is .... um.. diligent in keeping an eye on me when I'm anywhere near the barn or pasture. Just because I can be mean - and it's funny to watch - sometimes I'll just walk in and out of the barn a few times to watch her run back and forth from the back door (to see in the barn) and the pasture on the side of the barn (to see the yard).
