@Beekissed , Photographers call that "the golden hour". Some call it breakfast time. I am craving grits now. I like mine with cheese.

We like ours cooked with minced onions, olive oil and garlic salt. Makes for a creamy and tasty tooth full.

Journey, that's a very pretty composition! Love those purple beans.

We cooked some for dinner tonight and the purple ones came out mauve. They were so tasty though.

There's something about how the light hits the kitchen table at this time of year that makes the most mundane things look almost ethereal. Like this bowl of grits and the fire jam on homemade bread....now I'm the last person to take pics of a meal and find it funny when folks do, but the steam rising off the grits and the sunlight on that jam struck me as particularly beautiful for some reason, so I had to stop and take a pic. Laugh if you will! Probably not too many people find grits pretty....but can you see the steam?
