SNOW IN TEXAS!!!

Just heard, Mt. Washington ski resort up island from us was snowed in, they had 110 cm. of snow in a twenty four hour period. We just had wind and a torrential downpour, If it had been colder here guess what have been dumped on us, If I calculate right 110 cm is about 44 inches.

I believe my mother in law lives in Gun barrel City!!! I know she is ok because she texts me a lot. I did get a message from her on facebook saying she's is fine.

Maybe you can dig a root cellar to store your vegetables and double as a storm cellar.

If you motivate yourself you JUST MIGHT be able to start your Spring garden chores on time!! Look for the small jobs that you can do Now.
We had a thaw and I pulled out a hose to reach the portable (small) plastic horse trough and then found out why I wasn't using it. It had a leak. I took the time this weekend to cut it into smaller pieces (I used metal cutters) and got it bagged up and thrown away. We have Wednesday morning trash pickup. One LESS job to do in March!

we had a sneaky storm roll though last night dropped about a 1/2" of snow it melted and turned into a sheet of ice, what a interesting ride into work, accidents everywhere.. took over 2 hours to get there.....

SOOO Sorry! Ice storms usually happen where I live. Hate them !!!!!! We had one in the 1990's and power was out for 2 weeks in the country.
