We have carrot sprouts, or at least I think we do. Tiny little things. And the corn is doing great. Lets hope I can get these plants to grow up and make yummy food for me. I'll try and get some pictures of all my plants.

Hey Soybean, I'm jealous. I'm the one who posted the thread about having trouble getting carrot seeds to germinate! I'm STILL waiting.

Well I think they are carrot sprouts. We have the planter box outside so it could be something else that got into the box and germinated. Our yard is covered in weeds. There are several of them though in around the same spots I put seeds. I counted at least 5-6 of them.

Oakland, I'm going to print that graphic and glue it onto sticks in my carrot patch!

Edited to add: they look like spinach seedlings when they first appear, don't they?

Give your carrots something to motivate them?

They do kind of look like spinach, now that I think about it.

Have you started your next round of carrots?

Yes, on Sunday I planted two more rows. Nantes Coreless and Royal Chantenay, if I remember correctly. It's raining right now, so hopefully the soil will be moist but not soggy.

Will this be our Official Carrot Thread of TheEasyGarden.com?

To really pick them out, you'll probably have to wait till you see the first set of true leaves. I swear, the cotyledons on your one good plant and billion weeds trying to crowd it out look the same.
