just always keep in mind when you have a one ton truck that has been hauling a very large dump trailer, to lower the tail gate before you pull forward. also keep in mind when you go to get in the truck and you see the trailer is disconnected it is NOT a good idea to raise the tail gate before taking off. the afore mentioned dump trailer may ultimately destroy the tail gate of the truck.
now, i'm not saying hubby did this today - just saying it's not a good idea.
