We are on the end of the big stow storm. A little snow for us and now torrential rain. It is my birthday today. I am only mentioning because some family were supposed to visit today. I have had quite a few birthdays ruined by blizzards. My Grandchildren are local so I guess I will cook them a big dinner as long as the snow doesn't return.

We got another 6 or more inches of snow on top of the 8 inches from last weekend. Winter has arrived! It came late but it came Windy yesterday with drifting and COLD today. A zero for a high!

I do appreciate how hard my daughter and husband work. Besides I have a big pan of Gawoomki in the freezer waiting to work it's magic. I had a dinner out Friday with son and daughter in law and husband.

Its been raining non stop for three days. After fires all summer now there is flooding. Not for me...I'm on a hill.
