Lambs Quarters and Amaranthus retroflexus (which sounds a little better than redroot pigweed ... sorta ;)

Okay, so we didn't plant them out there! But, they did come from the garden and grew between the time the tractor guy went over the ground and I got to that corner with the tiller this week.

There may be other weeds coming to the table thru the growing season but, especially Lambs Quarters is a favorite and has to be enjoyed early :).

Oh, and rhubarb bread. Yay!

More Lambs Quarters & Pigweed came home, yesterday :).

Cilantro for our noodles.

Still have Lots of Asian greens from the beds here at home. The tunnel is still up but no longer because of any frigid weather. With such hot sunshine, I'm afraid that all the leafy greens in there would be flat on the ground and dead! So, it kinda amounts to "shade," right now. Maybe I can take the plastic film down on Friday as the weather will be turning cool and cloudy.

I know how you feel! I think his cucumbers are longer than my plants are tall!
Don't feel too bad. The days are long up there in the summer. In the winter you can walk out your front door while the sun is rising and see it setting by the time you close the door.
