    Yard sale find $6 door to a cabinet must have been in Bar. Was covered in nicotine thought glass was brown,started cleaning was suprized when blue appeared DSCF0815.JPG

    Good thing I love not sure I would do again. Found old pair stain glass windows cheap in shop. Then cost thousands to take apart restore then add to 2 gables. Made my contractor tear up because of them.when having a party I turn on attic lights windows glow.!! DSCF0821.JPG

    While not colored glass I also collect spode /copeland in Greek pattern and paintings by Hal Robinson. His work the past year has sky rocketed now much more then I can afford.

    This popped up in the photos at top of page. I sure wish I had gotten the DIRT color grout. Grrr. This antique white is impossible to keep clean.

    scratch it out ~ don't have to get it all ~ just deep enough to re grout ~ vacuum it up ~ then you can have a mud pie party one day ~ Ezee peezee ```

    Reading this thread again......it makes me smile with memories of Alex and his love of pretty things. Then I wonder who will get his collections and will they love them as much as he did. I sure miss you Alex.
