Your boring/interesting/exciting Weather!

When I woke up this morning, we still had 3" of snow on the ground. Some time around 9am a storm came through and I heard several rounds of THUNDER, followed by a heavy downpour of rain. Snow and thunder...that can't bode well for this year's tornado season. :hide

Me too! :weee The better to buy more garden stuff, my dear! :rose

Argh, more snow (about 2 ") yesterday. Colder and windy today. 1st day of spring is predicted to only be 20 degrees! :somad

Need to get off this computer, so I can go shovel the couple of inches we got last night... Still coming down strong, too! Spring....

So far no promised rain here, and it has not cooled off either... we need rain here. On the other hand, I can work on that netting.

23 overnight but already warming up before sunrise. Rain coming after midnight -- the Weather Service is cutting us no slack. Prediction is for 100% but as I said somewhere, a little moisture here will be of benefit. Between the flurries and smatterings, we have had right at 1" of water over the last 30 days. Of course, the snow just melted in my yard but that means that water is probably nearly to China by now . . .

The weather in the USA looks like it is settling down about the 23rd. SLOW that animation down! I don't know how the WS thinks we can see that and look at the dates at the same time . . ? There is a "set animation speed" right at the top of the map.
