Sunny all day yesterday and today! Rain tomorrow then 2 more days of sunshine! I was so glad for beautiful weather that I stayed outside all day yesterday. Step counter was 3.4 miles.

Severe storms moving in. Only got a tiny bit of rain so far but it was huge drops with some small hail. Mississippi and south Alabama both have active tornado warnings as I’m writing this.

Yesterday, 60 degrees at 5PM, this morning it was 25 degrees, 33 at 3PM, tomorrow's low is 17. BRRRR!!

Had a tornado hit town last night. 1/2 a mile from us as the crow flys. No significant damage to our property or my work but we have siding and a piece of the roof of the building next door in our parking lot. Half of town is without power so it’s been crazy at work.

I don't believe that The WS has described a storm as "sluggish" before. Maybe if I was in the Pacific Ocean, or wherever this PNW storm is, I'd have reason to call it sluggish 
.
It is encouraging for me to know that the nearest mountain with a Snotel station has 28" of snow cover. The local tomcat is also pleased that he is comfortably able to use the paths that I shoveled several days ago to tour the yard even before I'm out there at 5:30 to sweep/shovel what sprinkled down overnight

No thawing for several afternoons so the good size berm at the end of the driveway isn't going anywhere. The road department plow showed up to scape a 1/2" of ice into ruts made by traffic days before the truck arrived. Winter!

And like @Phaedra Geiermann, we are in full winter now also, cept our 10 was inches! I plowed this much yesterday, knowing this was coming. Plowing with a wheeler; i cant let it get too deep!
