We had some smoke here too. The moon has been orange-red the past couple days with gorgeous sunsets! Luckily we can't smell it as it is up high!

we don't smell the smoke but it isn't normal as i usually do not bring up gunk in my throat all the time and have a hard time breathing. towards the end of the day the sky cleared up quite a bit and we could see the sky and the sun. still seems sorta gunky though.

they've changed our forecast to include some chances of rain for tomorrow (Wed) afternoon and the early evening. not large chances so i won't count it until it hits the ground.

I got 0.17" of sprinkles last night. Smells good! Our last sprinkle was early June.

Yeah we had rain in Oregon . A rarity in august. We really needed rain. It has helped the hundreds of firefights fighting 3 major wildfires. H72F, L42F . Light rain all day.

there are storms just to the south of us heading up this way, but never know if they'll get here until they do.

we ended up with an inch in the rain gauge but there's a good chance there was more because where we have the rain gauge is somewhat surrounded by cedar trees and the swing.

we really needed a good soaking so this is a big help.

pretty much chances of rain the next two days and nights and then a break for a few days and then back to chances of rain again for a few days.

it's going to be a muddy mess doing any weeding today but i have to get some of it done so i'll do what i can - usually there is a way for me to make some progress.
