Has your power come back on?

yes, if you see a post from me we have power as the radio network i use doesn't have battery backup.

we do have a propane fueled fireplace so we're ok if we lose the power to run the furnace - we call it camping.

Please don't use tins to boil anything. There's metals in them that shouldn't be heated up. It contaminates food and water getting into the blood stream and our brain.

I've bought a stainless steel kettle and small saucepan. I also kept a camping gas hob for emergencies.
