The weather has been weird. It’s been in the 70s for about 3 days. Today it’s about 55 overcast with dense fog with storms coming over the weekend.

We saw a very fine sleet today and it's getting colder.

It's 25°f (-4°C). The temperature is only expected to rise just above freezing. By tomorrow morning ...
It was surprising that the last snowfall stayed around as long as it did. No shoveling was needed but where I swept it off the steps and in a few shady places in the yard, it was around for days. The Monday snow will have a chance to melt but it may be added to on Wednesday. Temperatures are supposed to be moderate.
It looks like southern British Columbia didn't have any additional serious storms to add to its problems with flooding and landslides. Travel off in that direction isn't under the best conditions, west or east over the Rockies, for that matter. Passes in both directions are snow covered. Conditions aren't likely to improve. But here, precipitation hasn't and isn't likely to amount to much with afternoon melting.

we started the day cold and cloudy, then it started snowing and now it is raining. ice, sleet, snow, rain in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow with a few nights now getting well below freezing.

-8C, with a -16C real feel rating. 15-20 cm snow expected overnight. Plows are out in full force right now.

i'm glad they've changed the forecast here for today. just snow later and no rain or sleet. the winds will be up though. we'll skip setting out the recycle bins today. i sure don't want to have to collect that stuff out of the ditch.

More odd weather this morning. Woke up and saw that the sky has a nice yellow tent and immediately checked the weather. It’s already 65F here at 6:55am and Tennessee has a tornado warning and several severe thunderstorm warnings. The line should be moving in around 9am here. It’s rarely boring around here lol!

No. But we have a kind neighbor that lets us use his. He even lets us camp out his living room on the nights it looks really bad.
We’ve been hoping to build one of our own for years but it’s never quite worked out. Maybe this spring.

The storms passed through with no damage here. The lights flickered a few times and the rain and thunder were impressive but no tornado or storm warnings here. Most of those went to the north and south of us.
