We just started with lemon cucumbers this year. We have one lemon cucumber that is about 2 inches. It is just starting to get yellow stripes. Is it okay to pick it now? Thanks.

My summer squash keeps rotting before it is time to pick them. They get to be about 3 inches long and then turn brown and rot away. Any idea why this is happening? My other vegetables don't have this problem, just the squash for some reason.
